Do not place a disclaimer statement on emails asserting the email "may contain CUI".
Markings are for training use only.
Emails containing CUI will contain:
"CUI" as the first and last line of the email
CUI designation indicator block
Emails not containing CUI, but have CUI attachments will contain:
"CUI" as the first and last lines of the email
A statement that the email is unclassified when CUI attachments are removed.
The CUI designation indicator block is not required on the email.
All attachments will be properly marked.
